Facility Use Guidelines & Responsibility Agreement
A Place for Fellowship, Ministry & Enjoyment
The Children & Youth Center is a wonderful resource that God has provided for our church family. We want our church members to be able to enjoy this space for fellowship, recreation, ministry, and special activities.
Because many people will be using the facility, we ask everyone to help us care for it well. Our goal is not to create unnecessary rules, but simply to make sure that the building remains clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for the next person.
The basic principle is simple:
Use it, enjoy it, and leave it better than you found it.
Thank you for helping us be good stewards of this ministry facility!
Facility Use Guidelines
1. General Care
Please treat the Children & Youth Center with the same care you would use in your own home.
-
Please use the facility only for the purpose for which it has been approved.

Please clean up after your group and leave all areas neat and orderly.
-
Church property should not be removed from the building without prior approval.

Report damage or maintenance issues promptly.
-
Do not attempt repairs or modifications without authorization.
-
Individuals or groups may be held responsible for damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or intentional actions.

Special Instructions & Conduct
We want the Children & Youth Center to be a place where our church family can enjoy fellowship and have a good time together while still reflecting the character and values of The Home Church.
All facility users are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the values, standards, and guidelines of The Home Church.
Behavior that is not aligned with THC guidelines may result in facility-use privileges being suspended or denied.
The church reserves the right to limit, suspend, or deny facility use when necessary to protect the building, equipment, ministry environment, or those using the facility.
One-Time Facility Use Responsibility Agreement
We want to make facility use as simple as possible. Rather than requiring a new agreement each time a church member uses the Children & Youth Center, each group may designate one responsible person who will accept responsibility for the facility during their group's use.
By signing below, I acknowledge that:
-
I have read and understand the Children & Youth Center Facility Use Guidelines.
-
I agree to follow these guidelines and encourage everyone in my group to do the same.
-
I understand that I am responsible for the condition and security of the facility during my group's use.
-
I will make sure the facility is cleaned, organized, and secured before leaving.
-
I will promptly report damage, maintenance concerns, or other problems.
-
I understand that my facility-use privileges may be suspended or denied if these guidelines are not followed.
-
I understand that this agreement remains in effect for my future approved use of the facility unless otherwise changed or withdrawn by The Home Church.
